A recent study of over 1,000 churches across the United States who had recently completed capital campaigns revealed that seemingly subtle differences in the ways various churches approached their campaigns yielded startling and significantly different campaign results. The study was conducted in June-July 2010 by Volkart May & Associates, a Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota based marketing and market research firm.

"With the help of our JDK&A campaign director, we have been able to raise a significant amount of money even in the midst of an economic recession."I am writing to thank you for helping lead Trinity United Methodist Church's Building Community Capital Campaign. Our congregation has struggled with water problems in our basement and a failing HVAC system for many years. We've also wanted to renovate our gathering spaces and make our entrances and corridors more hospitable and accessible, but were unsure how to go about securing the funds needed to address these challenges. Our director provided excellent leadership, becoming a trusted, conscientious partner for the steering committee, visitors, and church staff throughout the campaign.
