So
far we have raised over five times our annual contributions
(almost $9.5 million) and expect to raise more. I do not believe
we would have raised this amount without your program,
leadership, and support. |

We
were extremely pleased with the "residential" approach of James

“I highly recommend their campaign counsel to
other churches desiring to navigate the campaign process
with excellence.” |

Our JDK&A consultant was well organized, detail-oriented, and
gave us exceptional advice for our stewardship campaign. His passion
for stewardship ministry and his enthusiasm for the mission of the
church were additional qualities that made him the right leader for
us. I highly recommend their campaign counsel to other churches
desiring to navigate the campaign process with excellence.

I was intimately involved
with all aspects of the campaign. Our consultant was a delight to
work with. He articulated the process well, and helped the
congregation understand the many aspects of the campaign. It was a
difficult project because there were a variety of projects and
priorities, including many deferred maintenance items, program and
staffing priorities, and architectural enhancements to make our
buildings more functional and welcoming. A few of the proposed
projects were controversial. The JDK&A consultant was effective in
creating a cohesive vision of the project. The beautiful and
professional brochure he produced showed his understanding of the
project AND congregation.
The keystone of J.D. Klote’s process are
visits to each member of the congregation to share the vision of the
campaign. Our consultant prepared each of the visitors well with a
training event in addition to the personal visit to each visitor
before they/we went out. The most important aspect of the process
was the opportunity to build community – to get to know my fellow
Pine Streeters.
On the whole, the process was successful. J.D. Klote’s process has helped us raise 1.5 million to date. We are
preparing to begin the work this summer, anticipating a new surge of
enthusiasm when the fruits of this labor are seen. |
