I want to thank you for your company’s involvement in First United Methodist Church, Kissimmee’s Capital Campaign. Your initial personal touch with our Stewardship Committee helped us make the decision. It was good to have conversation with you along the way, as well.

Also, thank you for appointing the consultant that you did. His personal touch and presence continued yours. Most of all, to me, was how involved he became in our church and community.

I serve as chair of the FUMC Kissimmee Sanctuary Team and co-chair the Steering Committee for our capital campaign. It has been my pleasure to work with our Klote consultant and appreciate his organized and dedicated hard work on our project. He has become one of "us" in this process and participates in almost everything we have going on in the congregation. He has an amazing ability to remember names which I am truly jealous of! I would be the first to admit that I had second thoughts about hiring a company to assist us with raising the money to do this extensive renovation. My thinking was that it would be hard enough to just get funds for this project and now we have additional costs involved with someone we don't even know. How wrong I was and what a blessing having assistance has been.

I have been a member of this church all of my life (50 years). During those years I have been very active and have participated in just about every activity and served on numerous committees. There have been a couple of major campaigns during the years. Each time I have dreaded the process. People were put in extremely uncomfortable situations and instead of working toward a common goal the church members became divided and disinterested.

This campaign has been a totally opposite experience. The Klote consultant has helped our church approach this project in a spiritual way. He has made it fun and reminded us that we need to reunite with our friends in the Lord. Approaching people for money has never been easy for me. With his training and support I have realized that I am doing the work of the church and securing the future of our church for the next generations.

I had the opportunity to meet with you when First United Methodist Church Kissimmee was considering hiring a consultant for our Stewardship and Sanctuary Refurbishing project. I strongly supported your company and felt confident that we had made the right decision. I am the Director of Music Ministries at First UMC Kissimmee. I have served at First UMC Kissimmee for the past six years and have experienced many ups and downs with this congregation during this time. In the last month I have seen more church members engaged, involved, and excited than I have seen at any time before. This is in large part to the tireless efforts of our Klote consultant. From the first day he arrived here in Kissimmee he has provided the church with 110% of his effort. He has gone above and beyond what any church could possibly ask of a consultant working on a campaign. In addition to his daily work with our fund raising efforts he has taken his own time to get to know church members, help clean the church campus, and even cut the lawn for one of our church families. His enthusiasm and positive attitude has revitalized our congregation and helped to renew the spirit of our church. Our campaign has been met with almost 100% approval which I find to be remarkable. This approval is in large part due to the methods and strategies employed by your company and the greater understanding of the psychological and social needs of a congregation.
