I would like to say thank you for the assistance of your organization during our capital campaign.  As you know, we started our campaign as the economy began its down turn.  The assistance that you personally gave us along with you staff members really made the difference in our ongoing campaign. We really do want our project to come to reality and you have helped us in so many different ways to organize our programs and directions so that we will find success. With your help we have made it possible to receive pledges to begin the process towards completion. We know because of the General Motors and government problems our program will now need to be extended a couple more years. Our parish had the experience of two previous fund raising efforts when we called on J.D. Klote &Associates. Needless to say, neither of our efforts with little guidance were very fruitful. The arrival of our Consultant, was positive from the very first day. A full-time professional was setting schedules, planning meetings, setting agendas, producing adequate copies of every thing for meeting handouts, and was available almost every moment of every day for consultation and advice.

 

Most of our Steering Committee hold down full time jobs, so having a pro to keep things running was a real blessing.  With JDK's depth of experience available to us, why should you try to invent the wheel again.  Looking back now, it seems that our JDK&A Consultant was always able to produce any number of whatever it was that we needed.

 

Due to the economy and all the factors we never even thought of as being possible, when we started our drive, we did not reach our goal, by the time we reached our agreed upon consultant cutoff time. There is no way to compare the consultant-on-site effort with the no-consultant effort. We are still going on, as the national financial abyss deepens, but it would be a lot less stressful, if we still had JDK on board full-time.

 

For my part, as a Co-chair, I cannot say enough about the work and ideas they provided. If I ever get into another similar situation, I would only make one phone call to JDK & Associates, seeking their help.

 

Thanks to all the JDK team members who were available for back-up suggestions and consultations when the unique question or problem appeared.
